The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), located in Washington, DC, was founded in 1974 for the purpose of improving continuing education and training and has been officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education since 1978 as a "reliable authority" as to the quality of education and training provided by the institutions we accredit.
