In 1982, a central New Jersey Berkeley campus opened in downtown Woodbridge to serve residents of Central Jersey and Staten Island. It now has more than 600 day and evening students pursuing degrees and certificates. One of the largest towns in the heart of the state, Woodbridge is the hub for progress and activity in the area.
Situated near the Woodbridge municipal building with the North Jersey Coast Line train station just across the street, the Berkeley Woodbridge campus is easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway, the New Jersey Turnpike, Route 1, Interstate 287 South, and the Outerbridge Crossing. Bus transportation is also available.
The Berkeley Woodbridge campus, which occupies its own Mediterranean-style building, offers wireless Internet access thoughout. Classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. Several computer classrooms and labs with more than 125 computers can be found in the building as well as a library, student lounge and bookstore.
About Us
The Berkeley Way
Established in 1931, Berkeley College's emphasis on providing students of all generations with a high-quality education has never changed. Berkeley draws its strength from balancing academic preparation, professional training, and hands-on experience. Since its inception, the College has evolved and expanded to be recognized as a premier educator in preparing men and women for careers in business.
The Berkeley Commitment to Excellence
Berkeley College's commitment to excellence constitutes the primary objective of the College. Small classes, individualized advisement and counseling, and the development of the student's creative and analytical skills support this commitment. Because Berkeley Colleges believes that teaching should encompass both a conceptual and practical perspective, the faculty is selected for both their academic credentials and professional experience. Their experience in business brings an added intellectual reality to the classroom, resulting in a challenging and stimulating learning environment.
