A Modern Facility- Located at 8360 Burnham Road, Suite 100 in El Paso, Texas, the School occupies a 20,000 square-foot building. The building houses spacious classrooms, student lounge, faculty lounge, reception area, administrative office, and library consisting of periodicals, text, reference materials, and Internet access. Resource materials are available to all students during both daytime and evening hours.
Parking- There is ample parking surrounding the building. An additional classroom facility is operated at 1231 Lee Trevino, which consists of 10,000 square feet and houses classrooms, offices, a reception area, and student lounge. Adult Learning Theory- Career Centers of Texas El Paso recognizes the worth and dignity of all people and is sensitive to the diversity of its student population. All students are encouraged to reach their potential within the framework of their individual needs, interests and capabilities. The School employs instructional methods based on adult learning theory and is committed to the development of each student's intellectual, analytical and critical thinking abilities. Teaching techniques encourage active student participation and may include group discussions and projects, laboratory work, simulations, demonstrations, field trips, guest speakers and lectures. A strong emphasis is placed on ethics, accountability, professionalism and the individual's commitment to pursuing lifelong personal and professional development. Career Services- The School Career Services Department will assist eligible graduates in their job search, including assisting with resume writing, interviewing, identifying job openings, and other job search activities. Continuous career services are available to all eligible graduates. Graduates who require additional assistance after their initial employment should contact the School to provide updated resume information and are encouraged to use the resources available in the Career Services Department. Part-time Jobs: Many students work on a part-time basis during their training to help with their education costs. If students require assistance in securing part-time employment while attending classes, the Career Services Department will make every effort to assist them in their search.
