LA College InternationalLos Angeles' academic library’s reference books, periodicals, on-line databases, and Internet are located on the 2 nd floor, at LA College International in Los Angeles. Students, staff and faculty may check out circulating books for two weeks, during regular library hours, Monday thru Thursday, 10:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m., except legal holidays.
State of the art equipment- The library has eight Pentium III and IV computers with Internet and T-1 lines, as well as three stations, to connect laptops. Additional computers with Internet for research are located in campus in the main computer lab, on Friday during office hours and Saturday, until 1 p.m.
Research Tools- The LIRN databases (Library Information Resources Network) include InfoTrac databases and the Electric Library database, for students’ and the faculty’s research needs, in their coursework and profession. In addition, the library has a homepage, with LIRN and selected web site resources, which are available to patrons and accessible on home computers.
